The Buchberg is a 200 m high mountain in the Hessian Vor Spessart . It is located on the edge of the Spessart Nature Park between Langenselbold , Rodenbach and Hasselroth .

The wooded summit lies on the Langenselbolder district . On the main summit, Großer Buchberg, there is the 29-meter-high Buchberg tower , a lookout tower with around 150 steps. In good weather, the lower viewing platform at a tower height of 20.9 meters allows a wide panoramic view of the Spessart, Taunus , Vogelsberg , over the Kinzig Valley into the Rhön and large parts of the Rhine-Main area . The upper platform, which is 27.1 meters high, supports various antenna systems and is not open to the public. The Buchberg Tower was built from sandstone in 1909 and is now owned by the city of Hanau . There is a restaurant and a pet cemetery next to the tower . The sub-peak Kleiner Buchberg is 162 m high.
