Budzów is a village in the Powiat Suski of the Lesser Poland Voivodeship in Poland . It is the seat of the rural community of the same name with a little over 8900 inhabitants.

The place lies on the brook Paleczka in the Beskid Makowski (Makower or Mittelbeskiden).
history
The place was first mentioned in 1369 as Budzowa when it received German law. He belonged to the Starostei Lanckorona . Wallachian settlers arrived in the area in the late 15th century .
During the first partition of Poland , the village became part of the Habsburg Galicia in 1772 .
A Roman Catholic parish was established in 1852. The first wooden church from 1864 burned down in 1912.
In 1918, after the end of the First World War and the collapse of Austria-Hungary , Budzów became part of Poland , with the exception of the time when Poland was occupied by the Wehrmacht in the Second World War .
From 1975 to 1998 Budzów was part of the Bielsko-Biała Voivodeship .
