Bulus Dauwa Yohanna (born December 15, 1970 in Vuroro ) is a Nigerian clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Kontagora .

Life

Bulus Dauwa Yohanna was ordained a priest for the diocese of Ilorin on January 10, 1998 . He was incardinated in the clergy of the Vicariate Apostolic Kontagora on May 21, 2002 .

Pope Benedict XVI appointed him on February 2, 2012 Vicar Apostolic of Kontagora and Titular Bishop of Scebatiana . He was ordained bishop by the Apostolic Nuncio in Nigeria , Archbishop Augustine Kasujja , on May 3 of the same year; Co - consecrators were Matthew Man-Oso Ndagoso , Archbishop of Kaduna , and Ayo-Maria Atoyebi OP , Bishop of Ilorin .

With the elevation of the Apostolic Vicariate to the diocese of Kontagora by Pope Francis , he was appointed its first diocesan bishop on April 2, 2020 .
