Timothy Joseph Carroll
Timothy Joseph Carroll SMA (born April 23, 1940 in Millstreet ) is Emeritus Vicar Apostolic of Kontagora .
Life
Timothy Joseph Carroll joined the religious order of the Society of Africa Missions and was ordained a priest on December 20, 1965 . John Paul II appointed him Apostolic Prefect of Kontagora on December 15, 1995 . Pope appointed him on April 30, 2002 Vicar Apostolic of Kontagora and Titular Bishop of Tipasa in Mauretania .
The Apostolic Nuncio in Nigeria , Osvaldo Padilla , donated him episcopal ordination on August 17th of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Peter Yariyok Jatau , Archbishop of Kaduna , and Kevin Aje , Bishop of Sokoto .
He resigned from his office on April 30, 2010.
