Titular diocese Tipasa in Mauretania

Tipasa in Mauretania ( Italian : Tipasa di Mauritania ) is a titular diocese of the Roman Catholic Church .

It goes back to an earlier bishopric in the ancient city of Tipasa , which is located in the Roman province of Mauretania Caesariensis in what is now northern Algeria .
