Bundestag constituency Leverkusen - Rheinisch-Bergischer Kreis II

The Bundestag constituency of Leverkusen - Rheinisch-Bergischer Kreis II was a constituency in North Rhine-Westphalia from 1980 to 2002 . It comprised the independent city of Leverkusen and the municipalities of Burscheid and Leichlingen (Rhineland) from the Rheinisch-Bergischer Kreis. Since 2002, Leverkusen has belonged to the constituency of Leverkusen - Cologne IV , while Burscheid and Leichlingen now belong to the constituency of the Rheinisch-Bergischer Kreis . The last directly elected constituency member was Ernst Küchler ( SPD ).

The predecessor constituencies with similar territory were the constituency Rhein-Wupper-Kreis from 1949 to 1965 and the constituency Leverkusen - Opladen from 1965 to 1980 .
