BWVS II and IV are each divided into a teaching area and a service area that performs administrative support and management tasks.

history

  • The former BWVS III in Mölln was founded in 1972. Due to the stationing concept of November 1, 2004, the school was closed on December 31, 2007. The last director was LRDir Heiner Leupold until it was closed. The order of the former BWVS III corresponded to that of BWVS II and IV.

The BWVS III building complex was built between 1913 and 1917 as a non-commissioned preschool. The task of such schools was to prepare young people for the profession of non-commissioned officer after they had finished school up to the beginning of compulsory military service . The non-commissioned officers' preschoolers were not yet soldiers within the meaning of the military laws, but they were brought up and trained strictly militarily.

After the end of the First World War the school was closed. In the years that followed, the facility initially served as a transit camp for Mennonites of German origin from the Soviet Union , who then emigrated to North and South America . It was used as a sports school for the SA and as a customs and finance school for the German Reich. During the Second World War , the school was operated as a reserve hospital. After the end of the war, the state insurance company expanded the facility into a health clinic for TB patients.

The Bundeswehr Administration School III has been housed here since 1972. The building complex has been used as a ZAW care center for the German Armed Forces from the beginning of 2008 to mid-2013 and is advertised for sale.

  • BWVS IV was founded in 1974 and was part of the former Conrad v. Hötzendorf barracks housed in Oberammergau .
