The name Cònero DOCG is an Italian red wine from the province of Ancona , Marche region. The wine has had a "controlled designation of origin " (Denominazione di origine controllata - DOC ) since 1967 and has had a "controlled and guaranteed designation of origin" ( DOCG ) since 2004 , which was last updated on March 7, 2014.

Cultivation

Cultivation and vinification of these wines are only permitted in the province of Ancona in the Marche region . The authorized municipalities are: Ancona , Offagna , Camerano , Sirolo , Numana and parts of the municipalities of Castelfidardo and Osimo .
