Calum Ferrie (born June 16, 1998 in Shrewsbury ) is an English football goalkeeper who is under contract with FC Dundee .

Career

Calum Ferrie played in Port Vale's youth teams between 2015 and 2016 . In 2015 he was awarded to FC Gresley in the Northern Premier League . From 2016 he played for two years in the youth team of Dundee FC in Scotland. On April 7, 2018, he made his professional debut for the club. In the game against Glasgow Rangers at Ibrox Stadium , Ferrie was substituted on for the injured Elliot Parish in the 85th minute when the score was 3-0 from Dundee's point of view . The 19-year-old had to accept the goal of the 4-0 final score by Daniel Candeias in the 90th minute . In May 2018, he made another appearance between the Dundee posts when he started against Partick Thistle . The game was lost 0-1 at Dens Park .

In June 2018, the young goalkeeper was loaned out to fourth division club Stirling Albion . In the 2018/19 season he played 27 league games for the club. In Stirling, he was named Young Player of the Year and Player of the Year at the end of the season. Upon his return to Dundee, his contract was extended.
