action

The former Foreign Legionnaire Harald Birk left for Anatolia to see his friend Toni, who works in an oil camp, again. The men have a sketch of the location of a royal tomb in which ancient treasures are suspected. Upon arrival, he met Kerima, who works in a bar where the oil workers have fun after work. He also met Ingrid there, who was in charge of guest relations. Although the camp is strictly forbidden for women, Ingrid spends time there. Since the foreman Cemal is her friend, she derives special rights for herself.

At the camp where Birk is supposed to introduce himself as the new head mechanic, he immediately clashes with the arrogant Cemal. Toni introduces him to George, an archaeologist whom they call “Professor” at the camp. He was forced to go there because he had carried out unauthorized digs. The two friends tell George about their plan to find an old royal tomb in Olympus and to recover the treasure it is supposed to contain. Since George drinks too much and then becomes talkative, oil workers who are friends with Cemal get wind of the matter and are determined to recover the treasure for their part.

When Harald tells Kerima about his plan and that he has to go, she confesses her love to him and Harald, who reciprocates her feelings, agrees to take her with him. Through Ingrid, who has been watching Harald and Kerima, Cemal learns that Harald and his friends Toni, Peter and George are already implementing their plan and have left in a truck. Cemal also notes that they took a box of dynamite with them.

Cemal is breaking up with Joe and Faso as well as Ingrid. Since they need a ship, they pull Elid the fisherman to their side with the promise to share with him. Ingrid, who has fallen in love with Elid, quickly realizes that they just want to use it. Just as the situation between the men escalates, the different camps collide. Cemal forces a collaboration by threatening to blow them all up with the dynamite he was carrying. Cemal's men sabotage a rope that Peter was tied to and cynically comment on his crash: “One less to share.” Tonis intervenes when Faso wants to rape Kerima, but he pays with his life. Harald drowns the man beside himself with anger.

When Harald discovers that Ingrid has blood poisoning, he and Elid send her to a doctor in Antalya . Shortly afterwards, the men are at their destination, the grave is open. George behaves strangely in the following years. “It is the path of death that we tread, with every step my soul becomes quieter,” he says. Shortly afterwards he throws himself off a wall to his death. A misunderstanding arises between Joe and Cemal that Joe pays with death. Now only Harald and Cemal and Kerima are left. Together they bring the box with the gold treasure to the water and load it into a boat. Since the boat is overloaded, they have to let the gold box go overboard and the boat capsizes. Cemal, who cannot swim, loses his life in the process. Kerima and Harald are picked up by a passing ship.
