Camprodon is a place in the Spanish Pyrenees . It is located in the valley of the same name on the river Ter in the Comarca Ripollès in Catalonia and is about 75 kilometers northeast of Girona and 10 kilometers south of the border with France. The city's landmark is the Pont nou ('New Bridge').
The municipality has 2281 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2019). Tourism plays an important economic role. Camprodon is the starting point for several major tourist destinations such as Setcases (Vallter-2000). The cookies GALETES Birba from the factory GALETES Camprodon apply throughout Spain as a delicacy.
