The Canon EOS M100 is a mirrorless system camera from the Japanese manufacturer Canon . It was launched in October 2017.

technical features

The mirrorless M100 has no viewfinder ; instead, the live view mode is used. With the image sensor in APS-C format, videos can be recorded in full HD resolution at 60 frames per second. A DIGIC -7 processor is installed and there is a WLAN chip. The integrated flash has the guide number 5. The M100 is available in black, white or gray housing.

Lenses

Canon and other manufacturers have lenses with an EF-M bayonet for the camera . In addition, lenses (from Canon or third-party manufacturers) with EF and EF-S bayonets including the autofocus can be used with an adapter.

In conjunction with STM lenses, the camera can specify the auto focus speed for the lens. This leads to a smooth adjustment of the distance setting, especially with video recordings.

The manufacturer advises that the autofocus function will not work with several older lenses.
