The Canon EOS RP is a mirrorless system camera from the Japanese manufacturer Canon . It was launched in February 2019 and was the second camera in the R system of full-frame mirrorless cameras .
The EOS RP is the first Canon camera that can process video recordings in 4K resolution. It is equipped with the Canon RF bayonet and is compatible with the Canon RF lenses. EF and EF-S lenses are adaptable.
