The Canon EOS M10 is a mirrorless system camera model from the Japanese manufacturer Canon . It was launched in November 2015.
technical features
As a mirrorless camera, the model does not have a viewfinder ; instead, the live view mode is used. The camera has a screen that can be folded up 180 degrees for selfies. The image sensor has the APS-C format. Videos can be recorded in full HD resolution at 30 frames per second. The integrated flash has the guide number 5. The M10 has a WLAN chip. The camera is available in a black, white or gray housing.
A DIGIC -6 processor is built into the M10 .
Lenses
The manufacturer's own lenses Canon EF-M 15–45 f / 3.5–6.3 IS STM and Canon EF-M 55–200 f / 4–6.3 IS STM are available for the camera . Lenses with EF and EF-S bayonets , including the autofocus, can be used with an adapter that is offered by both the manufacturer and a third party.
In conjunction with STM lenses, the camera can specify the auto focus speed for the lens. This leads to a smooth adjustment of the distance setting, especially with video recordings.
The manufacturer also advises that the autofocus function will not work with several older lenses.
