The Canon EOS M50 is a mirrorless system camera from the Japanese manufacturer Canon . It was launched in March 2018.
technical features
Videos can be recorded in 4K resolution at 25 frames per second; the file size can be up to 4 GB.
In addition to the vari-angle TFT screen, the camera has a built-in OLED - viewfinder with a resolution of 1080 × 720 pixels (2.36 million sub-pixels). The image sensor has the APS-C format and a resolution of 24.2 megapixels. The ISO sensitivity can be set in the range from 100 to 51,200 (photos) or 25,600 (video).
The M50 is the first camera in which Canon has used the in-house Digic -8 processor; they are available in white and black.
Awards
In August 2018, the model was recognized by the European Imaging and Sound Association (EISA) as the camera with the best price-performance ratio (English: "Best Buy Camera").
