Carl Heinrich von Schaper

Carl Heinrich von Schaper , full name Heinrich Friedrich Carl Ludwig von Schaper , (* December 7, 1816 in Danzig , † February 14, 1885 in Falkenberg ) was a manor owner and member of the Reichstag .

Life

origin

He came from a family originally from Lower Saxony and was the son of the Prussian Lieutenant General Heinrich Johann von Schaper .

Career

Schaper attended the grammar school in Torgau until 1834, joined the Hussar Regiment "von Zieten" (Brandenburgisches) No. 3 and in 1836 became an officer and 1848 Premier-Lieutenant . In 1849 he took over his father's estate. On March 1, 1853, he became provisional, and in 1854 he became district administrator of the Liebenwerda district . From 1867 to 1874 he was only a member of the Reichstag of the North German Confederation and the German Reichstag for the Conservative Party for the constituency of Merseburg District 1 (Liebenwerda-Torgau). He was also a member of the provincial parliament of the province of Saxony .
