Carl van Wegberg (born November 26, 1977 in Sittard ) is a Dutch musical performer .

Life

Carl van Wegberg was born in the Netherlands and took an early interest in music. He learned to play the piano and clarinet . Although he first completed his studies in music management with a diploma, the rocking baritone (G - c2) decided to train as a musical performer. For this purpose he attended Fonty's dance academy in Tilburg ( Netherlands ). He often appeared in musical shows early in his career. His first leading role in a musical was Danny in Grease . This was followed by A Chorus Line , where he the role of Paul took over. After Germany he worked at Tanz der Vampire in Stuttgart , where he played Herbert and Nightmare . In Les Misérables in Berlin he played the role of Montparnasse alongside Uwe Kröger , Vera Bolten and Kasper Holmboe . He was also cast as the cover for the roles of Marius and Bamatabois . Then he returned to Stuttgart and played there in the musical Elisabeth as Tod and Rudolf . He was also engaged for the tour of the same musical, but from then on no longer played Rudolf . After the tour he went to the musical Wicked in Oberhausen , where he played Fiyero , among other things . In Stuttgart, van Wegberg then took on the role of Jack Favell in the musical Rebecca and played in the ensemble. Since 2014 he has been playing in the ensemble of the Munich State Theater on Gärtnerplatz .
