Dhünnsche Mühle

The Dünnsche Mühle ( Hubertsmühle ) is a former mill on the south-eastern outskirts of Dhünn ( Wermelskirchen ) on the Kleine Dhünn river .

On September 20, 1575, the Duke of Berg gave the Hupertgen zu Dun in the Bornefeld district permission to build a new grain mill . In addition, it said in the burger stock book for the year 1575 Bey Dünn is a garbage called the Hebertz garbage has no compulsion . For the year 1630, Johann Schmidt was named in the same inventory book as the owner of the concession for a grinding and oil refuse. In 1749, in the inventory book of the Burg Amt, Johann Schmidt zu Dhünn gave a thaler 32 stüber of knowledge to the grinding mill for his oil mill.

In 1809, according to a contract from 1775, Johann Fischer from his Hubertsmühle in Dhünn gave two Malter rye to the Burg winery .

The mill came to the Kornwinkel family through the Rosenthal and Paffrath families.
