Herrlinghausen
Herrlinghausen is a district of Wermelskirchen , east of Tente and west of Hinterhufe , in North Rhine-Westphalia .
The name is derived from the personal name Herilo and is said to come from the time of settlement in the Bergisches Land. The first mention can be found in 1383 with Herlinchusen in Lübeck files. From this one can infer early relationships, for example with the Hanseatic League.
Up until the end of the 19th century there were only a few houses here, it was only through industrialization that it became a settlement.
Today the main factory of TENTE-ROLLEN , an international company in the roller industry , is located there .
