Carl von Treskow (politician)

Carl von Treskow (born August 27, 1819 in Friedrichsfelde ; † June 22, 1882 there ) was a squire and member of the Reichstag .

Carl von Treskow came from the noble family Treskow . He was the son of Johann Carl Sigismund von Treskow and in his successor landlord on Friedrichsfelde and Karlshorst . He was also Mitherr to Strzelce and parade lieutenant of the Landwehr - Cavalry .

Von Treskow was a member of the Constituent German Reichstag in 1867, a member of the North German Reichstag from 1867 to 1870, a member of the Customs Parliament from 1868 to 1870 and a member of the German Reichstag from 1871 to 1874. Treskow represented the interests of his constituency Potsdam 6 ( Niederbarnim district ) from 1871 to 1874 in the German Reichstag for the Conservative Party during his time as a member of parliament . The main focus of his parliamentary activities were the strengthening of the monarchy and the fight against social democracy .

Carl von Treskow was a member of the Freemasons Association . His son Sigismund von Treskow succeeded him as the last landlord on Friedrichsfelde.
