Carlo Mazza (born January 7, 1942 in Entratico ) is an Italian clergyman and emeritus Roman Catholic Bishop of Fidenza .

Life

Carlo Mazza was ordained a priest for the Diocese of Bergamo on December 21, 1968 .

Pope Benedict XVI appointed him on October 1, 2007 Bishop of Fidenza. The Archbishop of Bologna , Carlo Cardinal Caffarra , donated him episcopal ordination on December 1 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Giuseppe Betori , General Secretary of the Italian Bishops' Conference , Salvatore Boccaccio , Bishop of Frosinone-Veroli-Ferentino , Joseph Clemens , Secretary of the Pontifical Council for the Laity , and Roberto Amadei , Bishop of Bergamo. As a motto he chose Omnia cooperantur in bonum .

Pope Francis accepted his age-related resignation on March 17, 2017.
