Carlos Alberto Breis Pereira
Carlos Alberto Breis Pereira OFM (born September 16, 1965 in São Francisco do Sul , Santa Catarina , Brazil ) is a Brazilian religious and Roman Catholic bishop of Juazeiro .
Life
Carlos Alberto Pereira pulp joined the religious order of the Franciscans in and put on 10 January 1987, the eternal vows from. He received on 20 August 1994, the sacrament of Holy Orders .
On 17 February 2016 Pope appointed him Francis the Coadjutor Bishop of Juazeiro. The Archbishop of Olinda e Recife , Antônio Fernando Saburido OSB , donated him episcopal ordination on May 7th of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Juazeiro, José Geraldo da Cruz AA , and the Bishop of Limoeiro do Norte , Josef Haring, OFM .
On September 7, 2016, Carlos Alberto Breis Pereira became Bishop of Juazeiro, succeeding José Geraldo da Cruz, who had retired for reasons of age.
