Carlos Arturo Mullín Nocetti SJ (born July 8, 1914 in Montevideo , Uruguay , † March 17, 1985 in Minas , Lavalleja Department ) was Bishop of Minas .

Life

Carlos Arturo Mullín Nocetti attended the Colegio Sagrado Corazón de Jesús . 1931 Mullin Nocetti joined the Congregation of the Jesuits at and studied in San Miguel , Argentina philosophy and Catholic theology . He obtained a licentiate in both subjects . He received on 21 December 1946 at the Colegio Máximo de San Miguel , the sacrament of Holy Orders . He then taught philosophy at the Colegio Máximo de San Miguel .

On March 1, 1972, Pope Paul VI appointed him . the titular bishop of Birtha and ordered him to auxiliary bishop in Minas. The Apostolic Nuncio in Uruguay, Archbishop Augustin-Joseph Sépinski OFM , donated him episcopal ordination on May 13 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Melo , Roberto Reinaldo Cáceres González , and the Bishop of Minas, Edmondo Quaglia Martínez .

Paul VI appointed him on November 3, 1977. to the bishop of Minas.
