Carole Péon (born November 4, 1978 in Nice ) is a former French triathlete . She is triathlon national champion (2006), vice-European champion (2010) and two-time Olympic athlete (2008, 2012).

Career

Carole Péon started triathlon at the age of 19.

In 2006 she became French state champion in the Olympic distance (short distance: 1.5 km swimming, 40 km cycling and 10 km running).

2008 Summer Olympics

In 2008 Carole Péon started for France at the Summer Olympics in Beijing, where she finished 34th.

In 2010 she was second in Ireland at the European Triathlon Championships on the Olympic short distance. In the team classification she was runner-up with the French team.

2012 Summer Olympics

At the Summer Olympics, she finished 29th in London in August 2012. At the World Cup she finished second with the French team after 2010 in Stockholm.

In France, Carole Péon started as part of the Grand Prix de Triathlon championship series for the Poissy Triathlon association .

It has not appeared internationally since 2012. Since the end of her active career , Carole Péon has been working in the French triathlon association, Fédération Française de Triathlon .

She is in a relationship with triathlete Jessica Harrison and they live in Montpellier .
