Caroline Kilchenmann (born August 2, 1984 in Freiburg im Üechtland ) is a Swiss biathlete and ski mountaineer .

She competed in her first international biathlon race in the Junior European Cup in Gurnigel . Since only the Argentinian Claudia Herlein competed next to her, the superior victories of the young Swiss woman could not be surprising. In the 2005/06 season she took part in the IBU Women's Cup. She contested her first race in Obertilliach and was 41st in the sprint and 36th in the pursuit. The best result was a fourth place in a sprint in Gurnigel, which she achieved in 2006. She took part in the European biathlon championships three times . In 2006 she started in Langdorf and finished 55th in the individual, 35th in the sprint and 37th in the pursuit. In 2007 she was 27th in the individual, 35th in the sprint and 28th in the pursuit in Bansko . For the third time, Kilchenmann started in Nové Město na Moravě in 2008 , where he finished 55th in the individual and 56th in the sprint. In 2005 she won the individual title at the Swiss Championships , in 2006 she was runner-up in sprint and mass start. In the following year , in the absence of the other squad athletes, she was again ahead in sprint and pursuit, even if no titles were officially awarded. After that she was no longer represented in any national or international competition. Alongside Selina Gasparin , she was considered the best Swiss biathlete in the mid-2000s.

In 2011, Kilchenmann and Valérie Berthod-Pellissier reached tenth place in the women's competition in ski mountaineering at Pierra Menta . At the end of April 2012, she took part in the Patrouille des Glaciers and, together with Selina Gasparin and Victoria Kreuzer, finished sixth out of 26 women's teams that started.

Kilchenmann lives in Cormagens . During her biathlon career, she started for SC Im Fang and trained in Wallenried . She later moved to the board of the Swiss Academic Ski Club (SAS) Friborg as Head of Nordic Ski Racing . From 2008 to 2011 she studied law at the University of Freiburg with a bachelor's degree. Since then she has continued her practical studies at the University of Neuchâtel .
