Carolyne Barry

Carolyne Barry (actually Carole Stuppler ; born July 20, 1943 in Brooklyn , New York City , † June 16, 2015 in Los Angeles ) was an American dancer, actress , acting teacher and casting director.

Life

Carolyne Barry participated as a dancer and singer on the television show Shindig! From 1964 to 1965 . .

She had her first television appearance on the series Mr. Novak in 1965 . She played other roles in series such as Raumschiff Enterprise (1967), Solo for ONCEL (1967), Here Come the Brides (1968-1970), FBI (1971), The Boss (1971), Hotel (1986), The Denver -Clan (1987) and California Clan (1987).

She had her first film appearance in 1966 in Out of Sight . In 1976 she starred in Dark August in which she also participated as a screenwriter.

From 1983 to 1989 Carolyne Barry ran the Professional Artist Group , where she worked as an acting teacher and casting director. Since 1982 the Carolyne Barry Workshops has been one of the most successful drama schools in Los Angeles . Barry and her colleagues trained thousands of professional actors. She also wrote training programs for budding actors and a book called Hit The Ground Running .
