Catalino Claudio Giménez Medina (born November 25, 1940 in Puerto Pinasco , Paraguay ) is Bishop Emeritus of Caacupé .

Life

Catalino Claudio Giménez Medina received on 15 October 1972, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On 8 November 1991 appointed him Pope John Paul II. To the titular of Horaea and ordered him to auxiliary bishop in Asunción . The Archbishop of Asunción, Felipe Santiago Benítez Ávalos , donated him episcopal ordination on December 22nd of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Prelate of Alto Paraná , Eustaquio Pastor Cuquejo Verga CSsR , and the Bishop of Encarnación , Jorge Adolfo Carlos Livieres Banks . On June 3, 1995, John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Caacupé.

On June 29, 2017, Pope Francis accepted the resignation put forward by Catalino Claudio Giménez Medina for reasons of age.
