The First Division 1918/19 was the eighth season in the history of the highest Maltese football league . The King's Own Malta Regiment became the champions for the first time .

The season was played in a simple round. There were two points for a win, one point for a draw and no point for a loss. If there was a tie, a playoff was played for the championship.
