The 1993/94 Maltese Premier League was the 79th season in the history of the Maltese top football league . Hibernian's Paola became champion for the seventh time .

Compared to the previous season , the newly promoted FC Żurrieq and FC Mqabba replaced the relegated SC Mellieħa and FC St. George’s . Both were first class again since the 1991/92 season .

The season was played back and forth. There were two points for a win, one point for a draw and no point for a loss. In the event of a tie, a decision game was provided for the decision about the championship and the relegation places. The last two placed had to relegate to the First Division.
