The First Division 1925/26 was the 15th season in the history of the highest Maltese football league . The Sliema Wanderers became champions for the fourth time .

Compared to the previous season , the Vittoriosa Rovers and the Ħamrun Spartans did not participate. After a three-year break, FC St. George’s took part again .

The season was played in a simple round. There were two points for a win, one point for a draw and no point for a loss. If there was a tie, a playoff was played for the championship.
