Catherine Oxenberg
Catherine Oxenberg , also Catherine van Dien , ( Serbian Катарина Оксенберг Katarina Oksenberg , born September 22, 1961 in New York City , New York ) is an American actress , screenwriter and film producer . She is the daughter of the US clothing manufacturer Howard Oxenberg (1919-2010) and the Serbian Princess Elisabeth of Yugoslavia .
Career
Oxenberg became known through the television series The Denver Clan , in which she played the role of Amanda Carrington from 1984 to 1986 . For this she was also awarded a Bambi .
In the cinema she was u. a. In 1988 she appeared in the Bram Stoker film adaptation of Ken Russell's Snake Woman . She has worked in various television productions, such as 2001 in The Miracle of the Cards with Thomas Sangster , the film adaptation of the true story about ten-year-old Craig Shergold with cancer. She also played the role of Princess Diana in two television films . In 2008 she appeared in a guest role alongside her husband Casper van Dien in Starship Troopers 3: Marauder .
Private
On July 12, 1998, she married the film producer Robert Evans , but the marriage was annulled nine days later. On May 8, 1999, she married the actor Casper van Dien. The divorce was filed in September 2015. She has three biological daughters (* 1991, 2001, 2003) and two stepchildren (* 1993, 1996).
Oxenberg received a Serbian passport in July 2007 and now has both US citizenship and Serbian citizenship.
