Zentrum ( German  for Center ) is a region of Cameroon with the capital Yaounde .

geography

The region is located in the center of the country and is bordered to the north by the region Adamawa , on the east by the region East , south to the region south , southwest to the region Littoral and in the northwest to the region West .

The region (until 2008 Province) was established in 1983 with the division of the Province Central-South (Center-Sud / Center-South) in the provinces of the center and south .
