The Ch-25P ( Russian Х-25П , NATO code name AS-12 Kegler ) is a Russian anti-radar missile (ARM) that is used to hold down enemy air defense . Your seeker switches to the frequency of the enemy radar and uses this to hit the radar position.

development

Development began in the Zvezda state design office in the early 1970s. The Ch-25P is based on the Ch-25 . The system was introduced to the Soviet Air Force in 1978. The Ch-25P is the Soviet equivalent of the American AGM-45 Shrike .

  • Ch-25P: 1st production version. Range 30 km.
  • Ch-25PS: 2nd version with improved electronics. Range 40 km.
  • Ch-25PM: 3rd version with new PRGS-1WP or PRGS-2WP search heads. Range 40 km.
