Champigny-le-Sec is a commune déléguée in the French commune of Champigny en Rochereau with 1,100 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the north-west of the Vienne department in France .

On January 1, 2017, the commune of Champigny-le-Sec merged with Le Rochereau to form the new commune of Champigny en Rochereau. The municipality belonged to the Arrondissement of Poitiers and the canton of Migné-Auxances (until 2015: canton of Mirebeau ).

Champigny-le-Sec is located about 20 kilometers northwest of Poitiers in the Haut-Poitou .

The municipality of Champigny-le-Sec was surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Amberre in the north, Blaslay in the east, Charray in the south and southeast, Le Rochereau in the south, Vouzailles in the west and Cuhon in the northwest.
