Chassé is a commune Déléguée in the French commune of Villeneuve-en-Perseigne with 177 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Sarthe in the region Pays de la Loire . The inhabitants are called Chasséens .

On January 1, 2015, Chassé was merged with the municipalities of Lignières-la-Carelle , Saint-Rigomer-des-Bois , Montigny , Roullée and La Fresnaye-sur-Chédouet to form the new municipality ( Commune nouvelle ) Villeneuve-en-Perseigne . The municipality belonged to the arrondissement of Mamers and the canton of Mamers (until 2015: canton La Fresnaye-sur-Chédouet ).

Chassé is about 48 kilometers north of Le Mans and about eight kilometers east-northeast of Alençon .
