The Chery A1 , in Serbia Chery Ego , is a small car from the Chinese manufacturer Chery Automobile .
description
Chery himself describes the A1 as the first Chinese world car and is accordingly intended for worldwide sales. The vehicle was shown formally for the first time at Auto Shanghai 2007. The A1 is powered by a 1.3-liter engine with a maximum output of 62 kW. The car has driver and front passenger airbags as standard .
In Egypt, the A1 is manufactured under license as the Speranza A113 . In Italy, the model was built under license by DR Automobiles and sold under the name DR 2 , and it was formally shown for the first time at the 2009 Geneva Motor Show .
