The Chery Tiggo 8 is an SUV from the Chinese car manufacturer Chery Automobile , which is positioned above the Tiggo 7 .
history
The vehicle was presented in early 2018. It has been available on the Chinese market since April 2018. The Tiggo 8 has five seats as standard, but is available as a six- or seven-seater at an additional cost.
Technical specifications
At the market launch, the SUV was only available with a turbocharged 1.5-liter gasoline engine with 108 kW (147 hp), which is also used in the smaller Tiggo models. A turbocharged 1.6-liter gasoline engine with 145 kW (197 hp) as in the Exeed TX followed in spring 2019 .
