The Chery Arrizo EX (until October 2018 Chery Arrizo 5 ) is a notchback sedan from the Chinese car manufacturer Chery Automobile , which was presented at the Guangzhou Auto Show in November 2015 and has been sold in China since the beginning of 2016. The vehicle is placed between the Chery Arrizo 3 and the Chery Arrizo 7 . In addition to China, it is also marketed in South America, Iran, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia.
Model history
Before the Arizzo 5 was presented as a production version, two concept vehicles were presented that anticipated its design: the Concept Alpha at Auto China 2014 and the Concept Alpha 5 at Auto Shanghai 2015.
Arrizo 5e
Since August 2017, the vehicle has also been available as an Arrizo 5e electric car . This is powered by a 90 kW (122 PS) electric motor , which accelerates the sedan to 100 km / h in 10.8 seconds. The top speed of the vehicle is Chery with 151 km / h, the electric range is 410 kilometers.
Technical specifications
A 1.5-liter gasoline engine with an output of 85 kW (116 hp) will be used for the market launch . The motor can also be combined with a continuously variable transmission . On March 20, 2017, the Arrizo 5 Sport, a more powerful version with turbocharging, went on sale.
