The Chery Exeed TX (internal: M31T) is an SUV from the Chinese car manufacturer Chery Automobile , which is sold under the Chery brand and the Exeed sub-brand .
history
The vehicle made its debut at the International Motor Show in Frankfurt am Main in September 2017 as Chery and has been sold in China under the new Exeed sub-brand since the beginning of 2019. In addition to the 4.70 meter long TX, the Chery Exeed TXL is also available as an eight centimeter longer, but also five-seat variant. The vehicle is based on the M3X - platform of Chery. The SUV will also be offered in other markets later. In Europe, this is expected to be 2020 at the earliest.
The SUV is presented under the US car brand Vantas at the NADA Auto Show in Las Vegas .
The Exeed TX is based on a new platform that was developed in the CTCS (Chery Technical Center Shanghai, today EXEED). EXEED was founded to develop this platform and started in 2013 at the Eton Place Hotel in the Pudong Financial District. In 2014, the company moved to the former Brazilian pavilion on the World Expo site. At the Systems Engineering Day in Paderborn on November 9, 2017, a lecture reported that the electronics / electrical system of the EXEED platform was developed completely model-based for the first time worldwide.

On the drive side, the Chery Exeed TX has either a 145 kW (197 PS) 1.6-liter gasoline engine or, from the end of 2019, a plug-in hybrid with 160 kW (218 PS) system output and an electric range of 70 km .
