The Chery QQ (after the expansion of the model range in the meantime QQ3 ) is a miniature car built by the Chinese automobile manufacturer Chery Automobile since 2003 .

Due to its low price, the vehicle introduced in China in 2003 became at times the best-selling Chery model in China.
License production and sales
The QQ is manufactured under license in Russia , Indonesia and Iran . It is also offered in South Africa and in several Asian countries, such as the Philippines , Singapore , Thailand and Vietnam . It is one of the cheapest cars in these markets. In Iran, the model is produced by Modiran Vehicle Manufacturing , where it is called MVM 110 .
Plagiarism allegation
The US automobile manufacturer General Motors accuses Chery of this model being a plagiarism of the Daewoo Matiz , which Chery had manufactured under license at times. Technically, the vehicles are very similar, so the doors and bonnet are interchangeable.

The second generation of the QQ was presented at the Shanghai Auto Show in 2013 . It builds on the platform of the previous model. In Italy, an identical vehicle is sold with the DR Zero . Chery also introduced the eQ, an electric version of the vehicle, in China in November 2014. It's one of the cheapest electric vehicles out there.
