Cheung Yuk ( Chinese  張 鈺  /  张 钰 , Pinyin Zhāng Yù ; born October 28, 1981 in Wuxi , Jiangsu Province , People's Republic of China ) is a table tennis player from Hong Kong . He took part in the Olympic Games three times.

Career

Together with Leung Chu Yan , Cheung Yuk was vice Asian champion in doubles in 2000 and 2003 . Since 1999 (until 2013) he took part in 14 world championships . He won bronze four times, namely in 2006 and 2008 in the team competition and in 2011 and 2013 in mixed with Jiang Huajun .

In 2000 , 2004 and 2008 he qualified for participation in the Olympic Games, where he finished fifth with the team in 2008.

In 2005 Cheung Yuk moved from the Chinese club TTC of Hating Shu Ji to the German Bundesliga for TTC Zugbrücke Grenzau . With his men's team, he won the German Cup in 2005/06. Today (2013) he plays for the Polish club Bogoria Grodzisk Mazowiecki (at least since 2010)
