Gambos is a small town and county in Angola . The place is also known by its older name Chiange .
Administration and residents
Gambos is the seat of a district of the same name ( Município ) in the province of Huíla . The district covers an area of 8150 km² with around 50,000 inhabitants (2011 estimate). From now on, the 2014 census will provide reliable population data.
The Gambos district consists of two communities (Comunas):
- Chimbemba
- Gambos
