The Chinese University of Mining and Technology or Chinese University of Mining and Technology ( Chinese 中国 矿业 大学 , Pinyin Zhōngguó Kuàngyè Dàxué , English China University of Mining and Technology, abbreviation CUMT ) is a university in the city of Xuzhou in the Chinese province of Jiangsu , with a second campus in the Chinese capital Beijing .
As a priority university, it is directly subordinate to the Chinese Ministry of Education and is one of 33 universities that are to be built into world-famous universities according to the state education program “211”.
It was founded in 1909. There is a geological exhibition hall.
