Chris D'Alvise (born January 28, 1986 in Mississauga , Ontario ) is a Canadian ice hockey player who has been under contract with EHC Lustenau in the Alps Hockey League since April 2018 .
Career
Chris D'Alvise played from 2003 to 2005 for the Wexford Raiders in the Ontario Provincial Junior Hockey League (OPJHL) and came to 91 missions in which he scored 103 points . In 2004/05 he was the team's top scorer with 56 points and led the team as assistant captain in the 2005 South Division Finals.
He then stood for four seasons for the Clarkson Golden Knights university team on the ice. In his first season he was the team's second strongest junior scorer with 25 points in 37 games. 2006/07 succeeded in winning the ECAC championship, with D'Alvise honored as the most outstanding player in the league. This time he had reached 26 points in 37 games. In 2007/08 he was the team's third-strongest scorer with 29 points in 39 games, and the main round of the conference was won. He ended his last season as the team's top scorer and third-best scorer with 13 goals and 12 assists.
In March 2009 he was taken by the Cincinnati Cyclones from the East Coast Hockey League (ECHL) under contract and came on four missions, where he scored three points. In the following season 2009/10 he came to the league rivals Stockton Thunder for use and reached the division finals with the team, with D'Alvise contributed 76 points in 81 inserts. He was among the top 4 in the league in terms of goals, points and game-winning goals.
2010 to 2012 he reached 37 points in 34 games for Stockton Thunder and 23 points in 46 games for the sister club Springfield Falcons in the American Hockey League (AHL) , the second highest division in North America.
In June 2012 D'Alvise moved to Europe and strengthened the Slovenian EBEL club Olimpija Ljubljana this season . The club had no chance in the league, but won the Slovenian championship . D'Alvise convinced with 56 points in 58 appearances.
Since June 2013, D'Alvise has been under contract with Austrian league competitor Dornbirner EC and is one of the league's top scorers. In his first season he was the second top scorer with 36 goals and led the list of the most power play goals in the league with his club colleagues Luciano Aquino and Graham Mink with 17 goals each .
