Chris David (sound engineer)

Chris David (born June 4, 1953 in London , England ) is a British sound engineer .

Life

David began his career in the early 1980s as a Dolby stereo consultant, including on Fellini's Ship of Dreams and David Lean's trip to India . From 1990 he worked as a sound mixer, his first film in this role was Predator 2 . 1995 he was responsible for Legends of the Fall along with Paul Massey , David E. Campbell and Douglas Ganton for the Oscar in the category Best Sound nominated. In 2008 he worked on Sylvester Stallone's John Rambo and subsequently worked on the three films from The Expendables series.

In addition to his work on film productions, David also worked for television, including 17 episodes of the television series LA Law - Star Lawyers, Tricks, Litigation and 10 episodes of Scream . He was nominated for the 2006 CAS Award for his work on the disaster film Category 7 - The End of the World by director Dick Lowry .
