Chris Fleischhauer (born January 14, 1982 in Querfurt ) is a German television presenter , journalist and entrepreneur . Until 2016 he was editor-in-chief and program manager of Regio TV Stuttgart .

Life

Fleischhauer grew up in Querfurt in Saxony-Anhalt . After training as an industrial clerk in 2001, he did his community service at a workshop for people with disabilities. After his community service, Chris Fleischhauer moved to Stuttgart in Baden-Württemberg . Here he worked in the profession he had learned until 2005 and then switched to the media industry. From 2005 to 2007 he completed a journalistic traineeship at the regional broadcaster Regio TV Stuttgart. In 2007 he and his colleague Christoph Kraft were awarded the media prize of the State Institute for Communication Baden-Württemberg (LFK) in the “Volunteers” category for their contribution “Air raid shelter and their history” .

From 2007 on, Fleischhauer was news anchor and head of the news program “Das Journal” at Regio TV Stuttgart. Since 2010 he has been editor-in-chief and program director of the Baden-Württemberg broadcaster. He received the LFK media award three more times: in 2010 with the REGIO TV team for reporting on the Winnenden rampage , in 2011 in the "Advertising, Promotion, Crossmedia" category and in 2016 in the "Regional broadcast format" category. On October 1, 2016, Fleischhauer terminated his contract as head of programming at the station in order to concentrate on his start-up GentsBox .

Since July 2013, Fleischhauer has been the first “male lottery fair” in Germany to host the live internet broadcast of the drawing of the lottery numbers 6 out of 49 , alternating with Nina Azizi (until June 2017) and Miriam Hannah (since July 2017).

Fleischhauer lives with his partner in a gay community and speaks aggressively on questions of sexual orientation.
