Christa Holtei

Christa Holtei (born March 11, 1953 in Düsseldorf ) is a German writer and translator .

Life

Holtei studied English and Romance languages , philosophy and education . She worked for a long time at the Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf. She has been working as a freelance writer since 1994. Her focus is on picture books , children's books and children's non-fiction books . Some of her books have been translated into English , Spanish , Danish and Chinese , among others .
