From 2004 to 2006 he completed a teaching traineeship at the Ratsgymnasium Rheda-Wiedenbrück . He worked as a senior teacher at the municipal high school in Erwitte .

politics

In the spring of 2013 he joined the AfD. In the state election in North Rhine-Westphalia in 2017 , he ran as a direct candidate in the state constituency of Warendorf II and in 14th place on the state list, through which he entered the state parliament for the AfD. According to Till-Reimer Stoldt, he was seen in the party as an opponent of the former state chairman Marcus Pretzell and a supporter of his internal party adversary Martin Renner and is assigned to the right wing national wing .

In March 2018, Blex met with other federal and state politicians of the AfD in Damascus, the Syrian Grand Mufti Ahmad Badr ad-Din Hassun, as well as high Christian dignitaries. He then wrote on Twitter that the Grand Mufti had emphasized the importance of the separation of religion and state and called on Syrians in Germany to return, which he would also repeat from Berlin. The AfD politicians had declared that they wanted to find out about the humanitarian situation and the reconstruction work on site, since the “media coverage in Germany is not a trustworthy way of assessing the actual situation in Syria”. The aim is to demonstrate that Syria has largely been freed from terrorism and that many Syrian refugees will soon be able to return to their places of origin.

In May 2018, on the anniversary of the Solingen assassination attempt in 1993, Blex criticized the German citizen Mevlüde Genç , who lost two children, two granddaughters and a niece in the attack, for saying that she “hardly speaks a word of German”.

In connection with the violent xenophobic riots in Chemnitz in 2018 , Blex declared: "Release the German electoral cattle for slaughter and blame them when they fight back ..." and conjured a "civil war" in Germany against "victims of the multicultural ideology who are emotionally neglected and neglected by residual wealth" .

Blex lives in Liesborn and is chairman of the AfD in the Warendorf district.
