Christian Ehrich

Christian Ehrich (* 1980 in Frankfurt (Oder) ) is a German actor .

Life

Christian Ehrich attended the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin until 2008 and already played at the German Theater there and at the Maxim Gorki Theater during his studies . From 2008 to 2011 he was engaged at the German National Theater Weimar , after which he went to the Schauspielhaus Düsseldorf . Ehrich has been a member of the ensemble at the Staatstheater Kassel since the 2014/15 season .

Well-known roles have been the title character in Georg Büchner's drama Woyzeck , the air spirit Ariel in William Shakespeare's comedy Der Sturm or Marquis von Posa in Don Karlos by Friedrich Schiller , which he played in Weimar. In Kassel he was on stage in Yasmina Reza's Drei Mal Leben , he was Rosenkranz in Shakespeare's Hamlet , Aslaksen in Henrik Ibsen's Enemy of the People and Bruno Mechelke in Gerhart Hauptmann's Ratten .

Ehrich has occasionally been in front of the camera since the mid-2000s, for example, he had guest roles at the SOKOs in Cologne and Stuttgart and played in three Tatort episodes. He also works for the radio from time to time.
