Christian Karl Wilhelm von Leutsch (born February 26, 1723 in Waltersdorf in the Oels district , † June 14, 1798 in Ober-Adelsdorf near Haynau ) was a Prussian officer, most recently in the rank of major general .

Life

Christian Karl Wilhelm was a member of the noble family Leutsch . His parents were the heir to Nieder-Prietzen and Waltersdorf, Christian Albert von Leutsch and Elisabeth Sophie von Poser (* 1698).

career

Leutsch came in 1743 as a private corporal in the Dragoon Regiment Prince Louis von Württemberg (No. 2) and took part in the Second Silesian War , in particular the sieges of Prague and Cosel , as well as the Battle of Hohenfriedberg .
